i was robed once already and because of it im realy paranoide and scared that somone is tapping my phones and comes in my house while im gone and i fear that i might get killed, come home to nothing, or loose my identity. i was thinking that i should get some sort of security sysetem so i can see if somone is in my house or tapping my lines so i was thinking that i could make a wireless microphone i can hide in a draw or tape to the underside of a table andthat have a set of head phones with me so i can cheack up if somones in my house. i dont want to buy a security system because i dont have the money for it so could somone teach me or give me some plans for how to make a wireless speacker system. and if its possible could you also tell me how to make a bug detector or somthing cheap i could modify to use as a bug detector like a stud detector or somthing. best wishes. thank you.

  1. Mmmm! There are really multiple questions there . . .

First, a microphone that is wireless does not travel far, so you could not monitor sounds in your house unless you were like 300 feet away or less.

I would suggest a couple things that are not too expensive.

One is the store TV monitors that you see at places like Costco. They monitor 4 cameras at once and cost about $400. Pretty expensive, but it has everything you need in a plug and play format.

Second, I would get one of those outdoor lights that have a motion detector on them, they only cost about $20, and when it detects motion it turns on a lightbulb for about 5 minutes.

Next get a little s***w-in bulb/switch combination. This looks like a light bulb, but there is a place to plug in an electrical cord at the base. You attach a tape recorder to that, and when it detects motion it will turn on the tape recorder for 5 min.

This is very cheap, but it is not real-time monitoring, but it will catch anyone walking around the house.

Third, a nanny-cam. Look it up on the web.

    4. A simple web cam connected to your computer

    Good luck.
