can i make it sound like an acoustic using a digitech rp90 pedal?????????????????

  2. I wouldn't bet the on the RP90 doing it, but it would depend on what you mean by "sound like" I imagine it could make your electric sound a _little_ more like an acoustic that it did without the effects pedal, but whether "a little more like" equals "sound like" is subjective.

    Your best bet would be to find a dealer who will let you try it. You might also try asking in [Y!A] Home > Arts & Humanities > Performing Arts rather than Engineering

    If you really want to sound like an acoustic, perhaps a pickup on an acoustic would work better than processing the output of an electric.

  3. Take it down to the music store and tell the person behind the counter you want to trade your electric guitar for an acoustic guitar.

    That's the best way.  Someone who has time and a lot of electronics knowledge might devise a filter that would make an electric guitar sound more like an acoustic, but they really are so different that you would never get the real acoustic sound.

    So it's time to trade guitars.
