  1. Mochaccino Microwave Cake in 7 minutes!

    I've never ever baked anything this simple, and had a fully iced chocolate cake ready in 15minutes! {i cooled the cake outside!!}

    The cooking time is 7 minutes exactly, dont even bother leaving it in any longer than you need to!

    Sift:

    - 250ml cake flour

    - 60ml cocoa powder

    - 15ml baking powder

    - 250ml castor sugar

    Gently whisk:

    - 125ml butter {melted}

    - 125ml brewed coffee {cooled}

    - 2 large eggs

    Add dry to wet and pour into a greased 2 litre ice-cream container {rub butter all over, and dust with cocoa powder}

    Place a pie dish, inverted into the microwave.

    Place cake container on top, and bake for 7 minutes on high.

    Remove, allow to cool and lather on a topping.

    The topping can be made in the 7 minutes that your cake is in the micro!

    Simply melt 1 slab of chocolate with 125ml cream over a double boiler.

    Leave in fridge to cool.

    Remove once cake has cooled, and spoon over.

    Sprinkle over coarsely chopped Ferrero chocolates, and serve!

    COCA COLA CAKE (MICROWAVE)

    CAKE:

    2 c. all purpose flour

    2 c. sugar

    1 c. miniature marshmallows

    1/2 c. butter flavored Crisco

    3/4 c. Coke

    3 tbsp. cocoa

    1/2 c. buttermilk

    1 tsp. soda

    2 eggs, beaten

    ICING:

    6 tbsp. butter flavor Crisco

    3 tbsp. cocoa

    6 tbsp. coke

    2/3 box powdered sugar

    3/4 c. pecan pieces

    In bowl, sift flour and sugar together. Stir in marshmallows. Put Crisco, coke and cocoa in a 2 cup glass measure. Heat in microwave until Crisco melts, 2 minutes. Pour over flour mixture.

    Stir in buttermilk, soda and eggs. Pour into greased 11"x7" glass dish. Cook on high for 11 minutes. Turn dish 1/4 every 3 minutes.

    ICING: Mix butter, cocoa and coke in 4 cup measure. Bring to a boil in microwave about 1 1/2 minutes.

    Pour cocoa mixture over powdered sugar. Add pecans and mix well. Ice while cake is hot. Cooking time, 14 1/2 minutes.

    CHERRY UPSIDE DOWN CAKE (MICROWAVE)

    1 can cherry pie filling

    1 cake mix

    Divide pie filling and heat in 2 pans. Prepare cake mix as directed on package. Put it on top of cherries in both pans. Put in microwave for 4 minutes; then turn and cover with wax paper. Do this for 3 more minutes. If on a carousel, microwave for 7 minutes but still cover it after 4 minutes.

  3. Get a box of cake mix and a can of soda. Coke or cherry coke for chocolate cake and sprite for vanilla. Mix the cake mix and the can of soda and put in a microwave safe cake pan. Microwave for about 7-10 minutes. Check for doneness after the 5 minute mark.

  4. Maybe get a mini oven? A microwave isn't really suitable for this kind of cooking. Even if you can it wouldn't come out as good as it would in a oven.

  5. You will compromise texture no matter what you do with the ingredients. A microwave cooks differently than an oven and most baking formulas are written for an oven. Time and temperature are important variables that are less controlled with an oven.

    I have seen the No Pudge brownies have an individual serving in the microwave, it's something like 2 T mix to 1 T yogurt, stirred and zapped. No matter what, it's going to be chewy and not have a proper mouthfeel and crumb.
