  1. Try to do small chores for other people. Do stuff like car washes, pet sitting. Walking dogs can be fun and great excerise! Try to use your imagination! It may be odd to make toys for dogs and sell them on a stand, but you never know. And for good horses (I have no clue where you live, of course) but here are some good ones I found on classifieds:

    http://horsetopia.horse-for-sale.org/cla...

These are all 750.00< Just remember, no matter what you may hear you CAN find a good horse for under 1000.00! maybe not an Olympic showjumper, but you can find a good beginner horse cheap if you look hard enough.

  2. go to school, get a job and work for your money. . . till then go lease a horse

  3. i have a horse for sale but i doubt your mom would let you travel all the way to MISSISSIPPI for a horse...

  4. im having the same problem as you, but im 14 ive been riding since i can remeber but ive never had a horse. what im doing is passing around flyers at local and privately owned horse barns for horse care/help in trade for little money. Also i earned lots of my money from babysitting, but if you dont like kids try pet sitting. Hope this helps and good luck!!

Oh and i found my horse on dreamhorse.com

  5. Get a job to earn money

  6. First, try asking your neighbors if you can do small jobs for them. Also, ask your trainer of you can help at the barn. If you're sure you're ready for this, try leasing. If it goes ok, try looking on equine.com or equinenow.com or equinehits.com. If you don't ride, DO NOT buy a horse.

  7. Just remember not only will you be paying for board every month, but you will also be paying for vet bills (100.00 2x a year) shoes every 6-8wks (100.00) and if your horse gets sick that is another 100-300 bill. Please keep in mind you still need tack (brushes $5, saddle package 300.00 etc.). Are you sure you can afford all of this?

  8. There is nothing cheap about a horse.  What is it that you want from a horse.  A pet,   figure out what you want.  If you want to learn to ride, You would be better off going to a stable and learning to ride on a school horse.  There is a huge difference between horses.  Something you see for sale on the Internet for 300 might be totally unrideable, it might have some really bad habits  or it might have some kind of disease that you are not being told about. Try and learn as much as you can about horses, stables, riders, different disciplines of riding, saddles and the other tack involved in riding.  If you could have a talk with a large animal vet that might help you learn more about horses.  Then after you do all that you might decide that a horse isn't worth it or it might become the passion of your life, but you can't  make that decision with plenty of work and study

  9. Well for one, do you have money for the up keep of a horse? Horses are cheap and in some cases free but the up keep can run a lot of money, vet care, hoof care, vaccinations, worming, dental care and feed. All of these things can run into a lot of money and then theres "knowledge", do you know enough to care for a horse properly? And last but not least, are your parents willing to foot the bill for caring for this horse? If not then I would suggest getting a job because they are not cheap!
