How can i make my BELKIN WIRELESS ROUTER to work?

i wanted to play my ds on wireless but when i connected my router were do i put the wire and do i have to add anything like my ip address to my ds or press a restart botten? plz help

Did you FIRST install the software that came with the router?  

Belkin Routers have really nice software that walks you through the installation step-by-step and virtually sets itself up.

Read the setup directions to both the router and the ds. If that doesn't help, call tech support.
