How can i make my PC spyware-free ?

Question

Guess there many viruses present in this pc....

> the taskbar show a text that read "virus alert'

> message like " your security settings does allow this file to download "

> the task manger is disabled

> When surfing in the net a message like - "Insecure Internet activity. Threat of virus attack .... " comes...

> Cant use regedit

> Cant see my C and D drive

... So what is my first step ??

get an antivirus like avast but since you can't download anything and you aren't willing to format your pc then the only thing left to do is to throw it off a bridge

first answer would be stay off p**n sites and illegal downlaod sites. Sure you know i'm right thats where them come from.

Now try adaware and spybot: search ad destroy.

Spyware is so advnaced now sometimes a good format is the only sure way to clear it

A very good, free anti-virus available to download is AVG 8 AntiVirus:

And for any spyware problems, get SpyBot - Search and Destroy:

Also, for protecting your personal info and files, use Ad-Aware 2008 Free Edition:

All of them are free, as powerful as paid programs, like Norton and McAfee, and don't use up as many resources.

Just boot into Safe Mode (Press F8 when turning on the computer) and run full scans.

First of all, have a good antispyware software like spyware doctor or better yet a-squared antimalware free.  Have all the updates and reboot then run it on safe mode. scan pc with all maximum protection on.  and lastly use another browser like opera as most attacks are active X based.
