How can i make my TV louder?

i got a new 720p HDTV and i have speakers that hang from the top of my room i looked at the back of my TV and the only audio out is for headphones so i got a adapter for it now the sound comes out of the speakers but its not that loud i can still hear it but my TV volume is at 100% is there a box i could get so i could get a louder sound i have 50$ to buy it with

  1. you can purchase a tuner, that way your can amplify the sound with it. also check your audio setting via your TV menu and verify that there is no threshold safety option on, alot of TV come with this feature automatically on so you wont overload your stock speakers which actually lowers the volume.


  2. Gavino is right; you need an amplifier, but I don't think you'll find a good quality one for $50 unless you find a bargain on a used one on eBay.

  3. Not for $50. The best way to do what you're trying to do, is to hook your speakers up to an audio/video receiver. You can get very VERY basic cheap receivers for as low as $100. YOu'll have to run your audio cables to the receiver instead of the TV though. HOpe this helps.

  4. duuuuude 50.00 is the old 30.00, especially for electronics equipment what you need is an amplifier.
