How can i make my advatar a female i went to edit even clicked saved and its still a man?

To change your avatar's gender:

Go to the My Avatar page http://avatars.yahoo.com//

Click the "Preferences" tab (top right).

Click the "Change" button in the "Change My Avatar's Gender" section.

Click "Change".

you are forgetting to save the changes.  You haveto make changes and then you have to save aall your changes for it to take effect.

press the bubble that says female

Just go to "My Profile" and click on where it shows your picture. Now it should say Download picture from Destop.  Or it will say Use yahoo picture. Or it will say Create avatar . click on create avatar. Then you should be able to work your way thrue

when you first make an advatar it asks, female or male, u must of clicked male and now its a male...I dnt think you can change it.

jk there is no way to do it i don't think cos i wanted to make a male one once but couldn't
