  1. No there is really nothing you can do to get them in the mood maybe just show the female the nesting box and just double check on their gender, but you just have to let nature take it course

    good luck

  2. Be sure they have many hours of light each day.  I use full spectrum lighting for mine - on a timer.  Works like a charm.

They get 12 hours of light a day, most days.

  3. I have owned Amazons for nearly 30 years. You can make sure that they get enough sunlight and warmth to go along with what you've done already. You can purchase an avian sunlamp from DoctorsFosterandSmith.com

Birds need form 10-13 hours of dark rest each night,so make sure that there room is dark in the evenings.

My breeder friends have told me that their Amazons are slow to mate this year because of the weird weather,so don't worry if they are not on the mood.

You've already done the best thing:had them vet-checked.

    Here's a website for breeders: http://www.birdbreeders.com

They have a forum where you can ask experts for help. Also visit http://www.birdtalkmagazine.com

Good luck! I love Amazons, they are such great birds!

  4. let them alone,  just provide food, and water.  do not keep checking on them..  check the box once a week.  to start you should see a few feathers lining the box.  then eggs, be gentle not to scare them..  good luck
