How can i make my descriptions on ebay creative using a mac?

Why is it that I can't be creative with my descriptions on ebay using a mac? I don't have internet explorer i have safari. Can someone tell me another way to make my listing more creative without internet explorer? When i try to list my item is gives me no options for change of font or color.

There's a bulk listing program for Mac called Garage Sale.  I'm not a Mac man so I don't know if it's any good.  But a guy I work with swears by it.
