How can i make my drift wood sink?

I have an 11 in piece of drift wood that i would like to put in my aquarium but i don't know how to make it stay on the bottom. What do i do?

  1. You can add suction cups to it or you can add silicon aquarium glue to the bottom parts of it.


  2. drift wood will sink once it has been soaked in water long enough.

    Until then, you can tie it down with rocks and fish line or you can even glue it (with fish safe epoxy) to a stone base.

  3. if a drift wood sinks it's no longer drift wood, then it's sink wood. hence it's impossible to make drift wood sink

  4. You have to soak it for about 2 weeks,then rinse it well and use a big rock to hold it in place,in your tank after that it will stay put.It takes patience and alittle time but well worth the effort.
