How can i make my fringe (bangs) more volumised/thicker/fuller?

Ok, i have a kind of side fringe that covers almost all of my forehead, but it's quite thin. I really want to make it look fuller. I have tried blowdrying it, but it doesnt seem to work. should i maybe try and get more hair taken from further back into my fringe, to make it thicker? perhaps.. i dunno- anyone got any other ideas?

Yes get more from the further back. I do that.

But only until you reached the centre top of your head.

But don't do it yourself, it won't turn out as nice as you do it in a salon.

If you have fine hair and want a fuller fringe you can have them take the fringe farther back but have them layer it. When you style it, if your fringe parts to the left, blow it to the right, then direct it to the left for a fuller effect. The same goes for a right part.

I have dealt with my share of bangs in the past, the best way to make them look fuller/thicker is to spray a root lifter/volumizer at the root then blow dry, hairspray can also work but may leave your bangs feeling and looking hard (depending on the quality of the hairspray). Also if you blow dry your bangs while facing the ground and blowing upwards will help as well, just make sure to come it or use finger play to get it back to your liking.

Blow drying won't do anything-- it will just make you look like a r****d from the 80's :P

Get your hairdresser to bring it back further from the hairline, mind goes pretty much from the centre at the top of the head= MAJOR volume! also, ask her to give you some extra layers on the side where the bulk of the hair is if you have a side part- eg the side with more hair so you can volumize that with a curl brush and dryer or your ghd (i'm assuming you have a ghd, if not then you need one asap).
