  1. I'm guessing by "silvery" you mean platinum blond.  To get a true nice platinum, you need a good bleach and toner.  And this is defintely not something to be done at home on your own.  And make sure you can keep up with it.  Platinum needs to be touched up every 3-4 weeks max.
