How can i make my house look decorative and clean?

i really wanna add some colors to my house and make it feel spacios and pretty. What could i do to achieve dat? oh and if you cold give me some colors dat werk 2getha dat wold b grate!

Living room

If you make the living room light and airy, make another major room (kitchen, dining, etc.) darker, but not too much. Get ottomans, pictures of family and friends in pretty frames, vases, at least one lamp, an accent rug, a little basket to go on the coffee table or near the television to carry movies and remotes, some candles, accent tables.

Kitchen

Decorative plates, small signs with cute little sayings (bon appetite, mom's kitchen, etc.), decorative towels, small plants, a pretty napkin holder and salt and pepper shakers, maybe a calendar on the fridge or pantry door.

Hallway

Hang up picture frames and maybe a long but narrow (in height) mirror, a decorative rug that runs the length of the hallway, light paint, since hallways are such narrow and enclosed spaces, dark paint would make it feel smaller.

Master Bedroom

I've found that darker colors work very well in bigger bedrooms. But if you already have lightwood furniture, lighter colors like gold, yellow, or green would go well, too. Duller colors are best. Stay away from bright blues and greens and go for burnt  oranges, reds, dusty blues, and pale greens. Candles, a cute jewelry box or dresser-top chest to carry remotes or other small things, a chair or couch in a corner, a floor lamp or table lamp, a mirror.

Dining room

If the kitchen has darker color, the dining room should have lighter colors and vise versa to create contrast. If two rooms close to each other have the same color scheme, it'll get a little boring. Color contrast will keep interest. Put a narrow but longish accent table against the wall with some candles, decorative plates, family pictures, and a mirror over it, preferable oval or round. Get a good, heavy rug to go under the dinner table. Make sure it's vacuumable.

You could also have just one color in a single room, but darker and lighter shades of it.

Put your personal style into it. That way it'll feel more like home.
