How can i make my iPod louder?

I can edit the default volume on iTunes but the volume limiter on my ipod will not let it go any louder than it does already, any ideas?

Thats how loud the ipod will get, personally I would buy better ear phones, I have the 80gb zune head phones and there amazing! It pretty much eliminates other sounds and all  you hear is your music!

Are you trying to reach a new limit here or is the sound abnormally low?

Maybe you have a problem with your earphones or maybe with the connector.  Try another set of earphones to see if they work better.  If not, you might want to have your iPOD checked.
