my two iguanas just got moved into a bigger cage and now they don't rub their noses anymore so they are healing up. they got moved into a huge outside cage, and they rubbed their noses for a week or two. i guess it was because they weren't used to being in a cage outside. in the winter we are going to move them into a big cage inside, the walls will be made of plexiglass and wood, and they will have shelves and stuff to sit on. will their noses still bleed from rubbing that kind of material, because they were making their noses bleedon wire. will the different material help??

  1. You won't have any problems with nose injuries from a wood and plexiglass enclosure.  I have one myself, and they are very good materials.

  2. Plexiglass is by far the best material as they will not be able to damage their noses on that. Wire is not good for Iguanas. Is there any way of putting a sheet of plexiglass on the inside of the wire wherever the iggy can reach?
