How can i make my mile time quicker?

i run a 7:30 but i want it a lot slower how?

  1. I am a runner. I am not sure how you workout when you not running but I recommend sit ups and push ups. Weight training with your calves and your arms. Just find a good balance were you not strength training too much. No getting a better miles time takes alot of time. good luck

  3. hey im a 13 year old girl i have been running for 5 years....i run i 5;32

    run everyday and time yourself!! cut off a few seconds everyday

    also strech for around 20 minutes b4 and 10 after

    work on sprinting!!! if u sprint in the end of a meet u will be suprised how many people u can pass and its a great feeling! and it cuts down ur time:]

    also try to think about something else while u run or listen to music and then if ur not thinking about the pain or how tired u are it will help:]

    eat alot! pottasium(spelt that wrong lol) is the best found in bananas if u dont like bananas(i dont) then they make capsules and pils to swallow

  5. keep running, run everyday...I did a sport in highschool called cross country...at the beginning of cc, my mile time was 7:45...by the end of the season it was 6:21..so yea..just keep running everyday
