How can i make my nail polish last longer?

my nail polish always chips and i don't always have the time to repaint them.

make sure you use a base coat and a top coat.  This will atleast help them from chipping.  When I do this I can usually keep my nail polish on for like 3 weeks atleast.

Definitley put about two coats of clear polish when your done. Also if your in water alot like washing dishes and stuff that can make the polish chip and break. try to wear gloves if you have to do dishes.

Apply a base coat (just a clear nail polish; this also prevents dark nailpolishes from staining your nails!), allow to dry and follow by the colour you want. Let that dry and do another coat of the colour if needed. Then apply a top coat (just some more clear nail polish; this seals all of the colour beneath it and helps to prevent the colour from chipping!) Make sure you paint really well along the tips of your nails with the top coat, as this is where nail polish chipping usually begins.

Use a "Top Coat". They help polish not chip and helps the color to last. There are many versions of top coat made for strengthening or lengthening nails. That's what they use in Nail Salons.

apply a base coat, two coats of polish and one coat of top shine and spray with quick drying spray.

you have to use a base coat (the clear polish)

then your color

then the top coat (more clear polish)

(drying between all steps of course)

THEN

take like a q-tip... and dip it in polish remover and carefully go around the very edge.... cuz say you tap your nails and there is polish on that tiny edge of nail...that will begin the chipping process.

and also make sure your cuticles are pushed back before even bothering to paint them.
