How can i make my own cover for a 40 gallon breeder tank (for a bearded dragon)?

is the fresh air screen metal? if not it wont work. thanks though i probably would be better off buying one but which would be cheaper, and if building one is then how can i build one?

I would just buy one if I were you. Unless you are really good at building things like that and have access to a variety of tools, it probably won't work well and won't be very secure.

Buy a fresh air screen at a petstore. Its probly pretty complicated to make one by yourself.

i went to a hardware store and got some metal screening, and some 2x2 strips and cut and hammered it all together so that it fits.

it honestly looks pretty getto, but... hey, it works. i suppose i could make it prettier by painting it if i wanted too...

be careful of the screening you choose, however. if you choose metal, make sure you know what material it is, some metal is coated with toxic coatings.

if you use window screening, which is cheap and huge, and you can use the leftver screening to make hammocks and stuff for your beardie with, be careful, cause if it's anything but metal screening, crickets can chew through it, if crickets can jump that high.
