How can i make my ozark 250 atv faster?

i have an 04 ozark and i need it to go faster on my on.

First.....Ozarks, are shaft drive. Now if you want to spend alot of money and have the trans and shaft tricked out, you can go that route.

I would focus on making it lighter(aluminum wheels, different suspension, take off the front and rear racks,etc.) Check some of the aftermarket exhaust companies and see if they make a high performance exhaust, you can bore it out(if you want)but, your going to lose dependability, you can go with a high output ignition.

All these changes are not going to drastic in performance, well maybe a little.

you could put a new sprocket on it a new mufler thats probley most of the cheapest things i can think of and would change hp

With the money to make it go faster being almost utility then you might as well get a bigger bike like maybe a 400 or even an older 300.
