He keeps on running in his cage, then all of the beddings would just go everywhere on the ground. Im tired of having to clean the mess up, is there any way he can stop? HELP!

  1. The only thing you can do is get an all wire-cage. They are more sanitary for your rabbit and tend to be less messy for you.

There are many on the market. I did a quick google search and found this one: http://www.studentmarket.com/asp/show_de...

  2. look at him straight in the eye and tell him hes heading the right way for a smacked bottom

  3. Get a shock collar. Put it around the bunnies neck. Make him watch you chainge his beddings. Now when he messes up his beddings zap him one. Then claen up the beddings. If the bunny is smart he will stop messing up his beddings.

  4. make his bed each night for him, and then short his sheets....he won't be able to get outta bed until you let him.

  5. Give him lots of toys  to play with so he won't get bored, when bunnies are bored they get into trouble. Some things rabbits like are empty tissue tubes, slinkies, baby car keys, empty boxes, paper bags.

  6. You can't.  Pets are messy.  Rabbits love to push that stuff around!

  7. lol some of these answers just make me laugh..lol..too funny..love it..

really tho, i had that prob too..i suggest a large plastic exercise ball..make sure you get the one big enough for him..check the pet store...it sounds like hes playing and making a mess.,,could be bored.or he could be wanting a mate..is he fixed??..you can let him run around in the ball just like a giant hamster..and he should stay out of trouble..it will entertain keep him away from stairs tho..and dont leave him unattended..

and they make a "splash guard" for most types of rabbit cage..you could prob find em at a pet store or a farm and home store..also the feed store may be able to order you one just for your kind of cage.they arent hard to make either..some panels of plexi glass or tin..

you may wana switch to a cage with a deeper tray too that may be a last resort,,or put him in one that he is up off the bedding on special bunny wire..i still recomend the side guards with that style tho..other stuff besides bedding can come flyin out of that kind of cage..may wana get him a big mat or a shower curtian to put the cage on to make clean up easier..

    good luck..
