How can i make my speech funny i need help fast!

at school we are doing speechs i have finished it apart from making it funny my topic is on

why are dogs known as "man's best friend"

any ideas plz

u hear dogs say "i love you" more than you hear ppl do.

Get a dog puppet and write out a "skit," with you asking the dog questions. (I.e., "Why do you chase your own tail?" or "Why do dogs eat disgusting things like cat poo?" And yes, my dog does this!) You would have a friend hidden behind a screen or the podium answering the questions in a smart-aleck style.

Or, you can dress up in a dog costume and give your report in a first-person sense. ("I like to chase cars because...." or "What I really don't like about going to the vet is....." and you could say something about cold hands poking and prodding or the condescending way the vet or assistant talks to you.)

Relax and just have fun with it! You can make it interesting by BEING interesting!!

Say "there are some draw backs to dogs being your best friend"

Then say things like "dogs can't lend you 20.00 dollars". Do a few more like that and it will be funny.

Or better yet, do it dressed like a pirate (speaking like a pirate)
