How can i make my voice more rock?

i have been going to classical singing lessons for years but i sound a little bit country but i really want to sound rock like hayley williams for example.

is there anything i can do to change my voice?

Try talking or singing rough then you'll get used to it..

beyond those common causes for the 'rock' voice....you have to be able to reach deep into your diaphragm and project your voice....

the 'raspyness' comes from vibrating the vocal chords in the mid-throat area but isn't something you can learn...or something that those of us who do can teach you.....you either have it or you don't

but, classical is a very disciplined style and genre, no matter if it is vocal or instrumental, and unless you can break those rigid and set in stone rules of technique and form that you learned with the classical studies and embrace a more improvisational and off the cuff style, you won't be able to do it.

but the first three things, over time, will do wonders to roughen up your voice.....

and in an ironic dual-use capacity....after awhile, the bourbon onstage will loosen and relax and soothe sore vocal chords about 3 hours into a long set......
