How can i make my wireless internet secure?

I have a MAC and i want my wireless internet to become secure. The main computer is not working, so is there a way i can change it from my laptop?

I am not a mac user, but i think the wireless internet is the same, you normally log into your router, which you have to find out your routers ip address, which should be on the unit or go to the website of the company who made it and you can find it on there. normally either 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1 are the 2 that i normally see, after that it is just a matter of setting up the security on the router, nope this helps, like i said I not a MAC user

go to the default address. usually located behind the router. like http://192.168.1.1 and the pass.

Just go to the wireless section, and lock it by a password.
