my yorky is about 2 and a half y/o and when i take him to the park he snaps at every dog that passes, an im worried that one day he'll pick on the wrong dog and come out 2nd best, are there any ways i can make him less agressive without neuturing? thanks

  1. Socialization and obedience training. and try not to spoil him too much! This can make dogs snappy.

  2. First, neutering is going to help. Since he's aggressive, he's not breeding quality and you'll end up with aggressive puppies. So he can be neutered and that can cut down on it some. The second thing to do is see a dog behaviorist. Dog aggression is not easy to handle and each situation needs to be handled in a different way. I don't know why he is being aggressive. He needs a trainer that can asses the situation and deal with it in the right way.
