Question:

How can i make myself feel good inside?

I have been feeling so depressed these past few days.

  1. They say, it's all in the mind.

    You have to think positive. Think nice things.

    Treat yourself. Like new haircut. Go shopping for new clothes.

    Look good outside and you will feel good inside too.

    Do new things. Eat well .... healthy food. Walking is a good exercise.

    Warm bath everyday. Feel clean and good smell will help too.

    Clean up your house, keep it clean and tidy. Shop for good healthy food. This will all help for feeling good inside.

    I know it sounds stupid but sometimes if you don't eat properly it makes you feel down, maybe you need some vitamins?

    Or

    Maybe you have something on your mind ? Try letting out how you feel inside, a good cry to a soppy song helps me sometimes lol.

    Treat yourself and do stuff your good at till you feel how good you are inside

  5. There is no easy answer to this. A lot of things will affect how you feel, from what kind of day you have had to whether you are physically well, to how you have been brought up, to the time of year it is.

    If you can identify which of these things it might be (not easy!) then it might help to get to the source of the problem and identify the reason for how you feel and you can then begin to look at options for what might be done. Sometimes just recognising what it is can be enough.

    For example if you always feel low at a particular time of year it helps to rationalise why you feel that way (some people feel terrible at Christmas or birthdays because those times are associated with bad experiences or the thought of getting older).

    Remembering a time when you have been happy or something or someone that cheers you up and holding on to that thought sometimes helps.

    Diverting your attention from thinking about how bad you feel by getting out and doing something active or different can also be a help for some people.

    It can be really difficult to pull out of a hole sometimes but by the time you do feel better you will hopefully wonder why you felt sad in the first place

  7. Good ways are regular exercise, even if it is just going for a walk. Try and visit friends or family and talk to people about how ou feel. If you are still feeling down in a week I would go to the doctors, they may give you something to perk you up a bit.

Don't try to bring in feel-good factor.  Just go along deep into depression.  Be complete in any thing.  Half-half will not do.  Don't desire.  It is the desire to feel good that is causing tension within you.  I am not saying you to be where you are.  I mean, go deeper into where you are, if you are depressed, just go deep into it and see what it is.  You cannot escape depression by trying to feel good.  Just be total in anything.  Don't escape.  If you try to escape depression by trying to feel good, depression will follow you more vigorously.  Be completely shaken in depression.  Let tears come out of depression.  The transformation which will come in you this way will lead you into a feeling not desired, but the feeling you deserve....

  15. i like to use smirnoff tripple filtered vodka, cider, la fee absinthe, and wild lettuce. this may not be suitable for you, but it works for me.

  16. imagine your on a Sunny beach,cool breeze,long fruit juice in one hand and a good book in the other,its the blumming rain that's making us all fed  up,think of the lovely colourful autumn days now around the corner,the best thing you can do for yourself when weather permits is to get out and get some fresh air and a brisk walk,it always works for me,chin up hun ok.x
