How can i make myself flexible to do splits?

  1. Depends, front or sideways.  Frontwards takes about 3 months, you basically put your legs out like you would do splits, then go down untill you feel tight tension.  Hold for as long as you can, then release.  Then switch legs, and do it again.  For sideways, same way, legs out and go as far as you can and hold.  Another way would be to use a ladder, and as your leg gets flexible keep putting it a step up.


  2. Yoga works wonders, honestly.

    but i recommend while your sitting there watching tv just start stretching and pulling your legs up and etc.  

  3. Stretch stretch stretch.

    Yoga and Pilates classes help (not DVDs).

    Stretch some more.

  4. im a cheerleader and on my team all the peopl do not know how to but if u want to just exercise and keep ur health very healthy

  5. Buy a copy of The Art of Stretching and Kicking By James Lew.

    I trained using it 2hrs a day and after 6mths could do the box splits way back in 1982 .

  6. dont do yoga its a bunch of bull and u might damage yourself watching some video ty to go as low as you can next day lil lil lower next day more next day more tudahh u might be able to do the splits

  7. you are going to just have to do the splits and try to force yourself to lower little by little. it takes time and practice. but you will eventually get it. keep working on it.
