i have to do an assignment where i'm testing what happens when different coloured cars are left in the sun. like if the colour affects how hot the car gets. i also have to see if if the car was "shiny" or "dull" would it make a difference

i'm doing it with metal cans which i've painted..

how can i make the shiny ones shiny?

some suggestions have been hairspray, glad wrap, laquer, sealer, which i don't have much of

so any other suggestions?
