how can I stop men thinking i'm stupid? i'm highly academic but have no common sense. therefore, at first glance, i may seem quite silly. also i wonder how i can stop men thinking i'm naive and don't know their game.

You can keep them from treating you like a bimbo by not allowing them to get away with it.  If they treat you like you are stupid, call them on it.  If they don't knock it off, refuse to hang out with them.  They will treat you as you allow yourself to be treated.

Read up on current events, watch the news or sports, then bring these things up in conversation. When they see that you know some of these things, their opinion will be higher of you.

lol i'm a lot like u.  i'm blonde with vry little common sense but i'm in the top ten gpa of my class.  just say something clever and dont let them do whatever they want. u lead the relationship, not them
