How can i make the internet explorer a desktop icon?

i deleted my internet explorer shortcut from my desktop and my start menu by accident, and i have to do a long task to get onto the internet. How can i make it an icon again?

Programs - Internet Explorer

Right click it and click on " create shortcut "

Open WIndows Explorer

(right-click Start, select Explore)

Search for iexplore.exe

When you find it, right-click, and select Create shortcut

Click "Yes" and it will put it on the desktop.

Right Click an open area of your task bar and select Properties.

At the top of the window select Start Menu Tab.

Select Start Menu and Customize.

At the bottom Show On Start Menu check show internet Link. Be sure to hit ok and apply if given those options

EDIT- from there you can create your desk top icon once it is back in your start menu.

INternet explorer is SOOO bad for your computer.

IT lets in soo many viru's so quickly.

BUt no body realises cause they think everyone

uses it so who cares. Do yuor computer a favour.

AVG is a goood Virus protection.. and Malware bytes will

scan for malicious files from your computer and delete them
