  1. cut them at an angle under water and put in lemonade with a penny in the vase

  2. You cut the ends of your flowers at an angle. Desolve add on  aspirin to

the water add more cold water and then add your flowers. It will keep them looking fresh for 7 to 10 days.

  3. u could eat them

  4. Use Lisianthus or Eustoma as the flower - good for three weeks

  5. Cut the stems underwater with scissors or a sharp knife and then immediately put them in water, don't cram too many into one vase, and put an aspirin or a little clear soda (like Seven-Up) in the water.

  6. yes-you do cut them at an angle underwater so a flat stem doesn't sit on the bottom of the vase and prevent sucking up water. Something acidic is what preserves the flowers, about a teaspoon of vinegar or lemon juice. Also change the water and wash the stems every day and maybe trim the stems every three or four days as needed. You will find you end up with a posy n a smaller vase after about two weeks. Also-have only stems in the water-not leaves as these will rot.

  7. A little soda water or 7 up in the water with them. Cut the stems under water at an angle before putting them into a vase.

  8. add sugar to the water.....it'll make them last longer.

  9. do that, but also be sure to cut them underwater. if you cut the bottom of the stems above water, an air bubble occurs in the flower's veins, and it will die much quicker. sugar helps in the water too

  10. Adding a regular aspirin has increased the life of my flowers by 2 to 3 days.
