How can i make the original white rangers costume?

i want to be the mmpr white ranger for homecoming at school, but im having kind of a tough time getting the costume together. does anybody know where i could buy the costume? i mean i dont mind making it, its just that all of the online suggestions say to paint the chest, but i would like his actual armor. so does anyone know how to make it, or where to buy the components of his costume?
