How can i make the site more useful?

i am starting a new site and need to know your opinion...

1) do you like the current layout?

2) what features should i add?

3) i didnt put any google/ yahoo ads on the site. is that a good thing for end user?

2.  The photos did not download for me

3.  Yes, people get tired of all of that stuff.

The key is value and content ... and i wouldn't hurt to earn a little from adsense.
