  1. It isn't a skill, it's an attitude. If you really want to go from lazy to productive entrepeneur, you need self-motivation and a positive attitude adjustment. Easier said than done, but it's up to you to decide what motivates you to get up and do something.

  2. no book can help you about this matter. bookish knowledg iis useless until you modify it according to your requirement.

do not point out a lezy man's inefficiency, rather point out his potentiality. I am sure it works best. I have done this and got an awesome result. encourage him to do everything on his own, help him and the most important thing is change his outlook . Make his outlook realistic and make him jealous towards the people who are doing well. word is the most powerful weapon, so use it wisely. I hope this will help change a man a lot.

  3. An entrepreneur has a driving passion about his or her work...an ability to get lost in it, not count hours, get up early and work late because you believe in your product or service so much. It is not really something you can read about and get, but if you have a burning passion about something, try to figure out if you could make money in a business doing that. Then study, plan, and set up your business in your spare time before you quit your regular job, and make the transition.

One good way to see if you have what it takes to own your own business is to write out a business plan, marketing plan and advertising plan for your proposed business. If you can get through those feeling inspired, ready to go, excited and have the depth of knowledge (or the willingness to do what it takes to learn), you have a good shot at starting your own business.

In general, I am a lazybones. But when it comes to advertising and marketing, I am inspired!  I love my work, get lost in time almost when I am creating ads or writing copy or working with clients. I work all times of the day and night, but was well trained in time management before I set off on my own...I worked for a couple of successful companies, and went straight commission at my last job, to see if I had the followthrough to succeed without risking my own business investment in the process. It worked, and that is a great place to start.

For more information on getting a small business started,  contact your local Small Business Development Center (SBDC) or check out SBA.gov for lots of tutorials and information on what it takes to start and run a business.
