I have 3 coolers. Two are made of hard plastic and 1 is made of styrofoam and I was using these as worm boxes for fishing but the coolers got too wet and the worms all died. It smelled really bad. How can I make drainage for my worm box without having them escape? I bury my worm box to keep the right temperature.

  1. In the bottom of the foam box, drill little holes (13/32) Then lay cloth

screen over the bottom, which can be bought at any hardware store.

cover that with pea-gravel, pour in your dirt & worms. To help keep them alive, you can mix table scarps(lettice, bread crumbs, ect, ect.)

The holes will let water go through, the screen will prevent the worms from escaping.
