  1. Feed on the way up and down if possible - a bottle, that is. Otherwise, use a pacifier.  The sucking helps with the pressure.  Bring toys, books, and whatever works to keep your baby calm.  There are changing tables in the BR's just above the toilet if you have a poopy diaper. Ask for a bulkhead seat if possible - then you have more room to move around.  (Bulkheads are just up by the door.)

  2. keep to normal feed routines etc

give him lots and lots of water as well as feeds

    take toys,dummies calpol

    etc

  3. I was worried about this all though all babies r different i gave my baby some Calpol night and she slept the whole was there it was only a 4 hour flight though

  4. It's not a good idea to take a baby that age on a long plane trip.  If it's not an essential journey, avoid it if you can.  If it's just a holiday, go somewhere that involves a shorter journey.  Leave the long journeys until s/he is older.

  5. Hi, well if you are taking a car seat on board (so your child will take up a seat - you have to have paid for this when you booked though) then hopefully he/she will sleep, also take toys, bottles, change of clothes just in case, a book - something colourful to keep him/her occupied, a teddy, calpol etc also if he/she is taking up a seat let him/her go by the window seat that way they can see the sky go by and will eventually fall asleep (:

  6. my son is nearly 7 months I took him when he was 5 month and 6 months  and he doesn't even notice the difference and he is a very active baby I let him wear himself out at the air port on his tummy with books and such and when we take off I breast feed him and also when we land he just likes looking at everyone as he is a bit of a people watcher any way .. good luck

  7. Manage not to sit by me please is all I care.

  8. How long is long?

Long for some people is 2 hours, other people it would be 12 hours.

My friend took her baby to Cyprus from the UK when he was 7 months - she kept everything as she would do it usually and he slept all the way there and back.

  9. i gave my daughter calpol just before so she would sleep and this worked a treat,xx
