Question:

How can i meet people?

In high school I was a social butterfly... having at least 3 people around me at all times and non stop phone calls/ texts.. not a day went by that i didn't have plans... now i am in college in a new city with my best friend but we are having a huge problem... we have now been here for a year and we still have no friends... my school is an all girls school and the people are nice enough but its just that all they do is drink.. and go to the bars... and i don't drink and such its not my thing.. but i am going crazy i need to have friends again.. HOW DO U MEET people with out going to the bars... I am a student so i never have money for anything its like check to check... i just miss high school when i was on top of the world.. with non stop plans now all i do is sit at home ant watch movies that i get free from work...

    Yes, life is different after high school. But remember one rule. You will never meet ANYONE in your living room. But I agree, bars are bad news. But the good news is that there are LOTS Of great places to meet new people. Below is an article listing 10 great ways to meet new people. Below that is a website that suggests ideas and techniques for how to meet people. For example, do you know about body language? Maybe your body language is telling people the wrong thing. Do you know how to make small talk? Have a look at the two web sites below.
