Question:

How can i mix my own mineral makeup?

I got some mineral makeup, but the colors a tad to light.

i want to mix it with a darker shade(as if it were a liquid foundation).

How can i do this? just dump both colors in and shake?

or is there a special way to do it?

any adice, greatly appreiciated.

  1. I do this with everyday minerals : D! ANd no! Portion small amounts of the darker color and have very rigorous testing after every addition to make sure it doesn't get too dark. So here's how... Take out about a fifth of the lightest powder, to add in at the very end in case you overdo it. THen proceed to portion in small amounts of the darker one and shake after every addition until you have it right, then add in the lighter powder again and you're done : D.
