I am taking college chemistry this fall..mm about 4 weeks i start. I have to take a test right before school starts to make sure I know some basic chem. If I don't pass they don't let you in the class. I actually loved chem in high school and got an A but i forgot most of it so i've been teaching basic chem to myself this summer.(or at least trying to) Its not that its hard but I just can seem to sit myself down and do it. I'm a procrastinator and do well in a structured learning environment. I need motivation to teach myself this chemistry. Help!!! I've got three weeks until the test!

  1. Hey[: Ok, I am also a procrastinator but what I do is just to layout all the chapters have to finish revision on a paper. Work out the time you need for each chapter and note that down just beside the chapters. Now collate all the hours and divide it into the number of days you've left. The answer is the amount of hours you have to study each day! Remind yourself that you HAVE to study that number of hours EVERYDAY cos there is really no more time to waste. Remember that you must not procrastinate. Whatever you have to do, do it right away. Don't tell yourself ''later'' or ''I can do it tomorrow''. Some things just have to be done RIGHT AWAY. so all the best for your test!
