How can i mount a weed whacker motor to my bmx bike with out welding?

its a project im doing and i want it to be something simple

so if you can please help me out that would be great

Just use the weed wacker wire and tie it around a whole bunch of times. That stuff is strong.

If you are able to weld at all though I would recommend doing it because you need to be safe.

make a small carrier to fit over the back wheel...(bolt together)

fit a foot peg from  a BMX flat style bike. (1 1/4 Diam 3" long)

to the weed wacker motor..

drive directly on to the tyre of the bike..

bolted in the right position on the carrier it will give you drive to the tyre..

I fitted one on my sons bike...  let the tyre down a bit when you fit it... then when you reinflate you get good drive to the tyre...
