  1. just move then..

find a place 2 saty i and get  a job, then ur all set 2 go!

  2. Not that easy.  You need a work permit in order to work in the bahamas, and you'll need an employee to hire you before you can get a permit.

Work permits, which are quite expensive,  for foreigners are only allowed if you are doing a job that no bahamian can do.  (nursing, doctor, teachers etc).   They are for a specific job for a specfied period of time.  Then you are ASKED TO LEAVE.   Foreigners are not allowed to take incidental jobs or jobs in the tourist industry, bartenders, wait staff etc.

Unless you have unlimited funds, you'll have to be happy with just visiting.  As an american, you can stay 90 days without dealing with immigration.

You can stay up to 8 months if you can prove you have enough funds for your stay and a place to live (and an onward or return ticket).

If youre an american, you might want to look into the US Virgin Island or Puerto Rico.  No work permit required.
