How can i neutralise the smell from my sons soccer boots and runners, tried ouder eaters rubbish. they pong?

New boots one training session in the wet and they can not be left in the house .

Put a bit powder in the boots it will not smell after that

try a dryer sheet or two after they are washer and dried

Wash them in the machine and leave them to dry outside with baking powder in them. Then put dryer sheets in them as soon as he takes them off each time.
