Question:

How can i open a .daa file on mac?

i have tried almost everything. yes i've googled it for about an hour and i've downloaded stuff that doesnt even work. please help :)

  1. i had this problem once. i seem to remember having to find a .daa converter and then opened the file that way.


  2. As Rock mentioned, right now DAA Converter (http://www.twilightedge.com/mac/daaconve... is the only option available on mac. But DAA Converter cannot open encrypted/password-protected DAA files, and your case seems to be that.

    For opening protected DAA files you need to use the PowerISO software itself, and PowerISO doesn't come for Mac OS. You need to use a windows machine and PowerISO software on it.

  3. Direct Access Archive (DAA) is a disk image format that's currently unsupported on OS X.

    DAA Converter is a free utility which allows you to access the contents of a DAA image file by converting it to ISO disk image format; The converted ISO disk image can be mounted as a readable volume on your Mac by double-clicking it.
