How can i open my bedroom door?

please help my dog was in my room with and she was jumping at the door and she locked it. There is a hole under my do r k**b how can i open the door

If the door opens outward you can just lift the pins out and pull the door away. If it opens into your room, pick it by taking a paperclip, undoing the first bend, so that after one full curl it goes straight out. Use needle nose pliers to bend that tip at a 90 degree angle so it basically makes a two cent flathead screwdriver. inside the hole on your doorknob there will be a pin with a notch in the tip of it. feel the paperclip into the notch, give it a turn hither or thither, and presto.

That is a privacy lock, most builders put the key on the trim above the door. check throughout the house for one. If you can't find one, the lock operates in one of two ways- either a push pin where you can stick something small enough ( a straightened paper clip) into the hole and push a plunger to unlock, or tak that same clip and flatten one end with a hammer, making a flat blade screwdriver and go into hole again and  engage a slot in that pin. Go to the hardware store and try to get a few of the type keys that you need to have around the house. As I said before a good place to store that key is over the door.

call the cops, they specialize in opening things like that, or the fire department, they have ladders and can safely climb into your bedroom flat.
