How can i pack alcohol for a vacation?

Question

im gonna be flying from seattle to honolulu, and was wanting to bring some rum and vodka with me...i know the glass bottles thy are in will probably break open, so any suggestions on how to bring them? water bottle, shampoo bottle, listerine bottle? and how should i wrap them.

ps. it will be in a CHECKED bag, so dont tell me i cant bring them

Both vodka and rum are sold in Hawaii, but if you really feel the need to take it along, the come in plastic bottles!  Going back to the whole you can buy it there thing...Hawaii is a state, it is like taking booze from Washington to Idaho.

Use bubble wrap plastic sheeting that is in  a lot of cases provided by the duty-free shops in the airport. Also, I would reccommend Disaronno liquer or Appleton VX rum. Have a fun trip!

i've transported plenty of booze... you just have to put them in the middle of your clothes in the luggage and all is good.  well, i never had the misfortune of having one break, but i could see how it could ruin a trip.
