How can i paint a old surfboard that will be waterproof and will last a long time?

its a old board wit a couple repairs lots of pressure dents and i wana paint the whole thing black the fins are fiberglassed in with the rest of the board thers no fin plugs or what not ...thanks..

go to the nearest paint store and ask them if polyurphane  ( or what its called  )is good for it.

Seal it afterwards...

Paint the board with a marine quality one-part polyurethane such as Interlux Brightside. It may be purchased from a marine store such as West Marine.
