How can i persuade my dad to let me drive 100 miles to my friends vacation house? QUICK ANSWER PLEASE?

From Santa Ana, CA to Palm Springs, CA, about 100 miles and 1:45 minutes drive.

To my friends house who is gone for two weeks.

Drive there in the morning and back the next morning.

I've tried the 'i am driving during daylight'

'i am a safe driver'

but i have only had my license for a few months

how can i persuade him to let me drive?

How is your driving? If it is good, explain that you are a good driver and this will give you the opportunity to show him that. Tell him you will call every little while so he knows that all is well. Is it only because it is so far? Or does he just not want you to go? Just tell him that you would love the chance to drive the distance, it will give you experience and show to him that you're a good driver.
