How can i perswade my mom to let me buy my own pet?

i have the money 4 a hamster but my mom will not let me get 1 and i really want to get 1 can anybody help?

Why is it that she doesn't want you to get one? Maybe you could try to prove that you are responsible enough. Maybe a friend has a hamster and would let you borrow it for a few days so you can prove you want the responsibility (make sure to get your moms permission for this first!).

just be responsible about doing chores and helping around the house then say that maybe you could help someone else with an animal if you know a friend or neighbor that has a pet see if you can help take care of it and don't beg or whine all of this should get you in as long as you work hard at it all good luck :D

Well, there is really nothing that you can do. If you live under your mom's roof, then her rules are what goes. I don't know your mom or how old you are, but she may be saying no due to the responsibility a pet is and the amount of work it takes to take care of it. Ask yourself this, Are you responsible? Are you messy? If you answered no to either of these, then maybe you should work out on proving to her that you can take care of another animal and maybe in due time she'll let you get one.

Ok Here's what you do. When I wanted my guineapig I said, "Mom may I please have a pet that I can hold and not a fish." Well I'm an only child so I said that I needed company. If ur not an only child just say, "Excuse me I'm sorry to bug you but, I want to have a pet that you don't have to look after or even touch." Well my mom hates rodents and was a little weary about getting a rodent so I also paid for my rodent so I hope you can get 1 and Good Luck

you can tell her that YOU will take care of it all the time.tell her you will do everything.clean it's cage, feed him, and play with him. that is what we did with my dog.

u could ask ur mom if she would let u get it if u get good grades at school unless if you already get good grades or u could say u will take good care of it feed it or u could say ill buy it with my own money and buy the stuff or you could ask for it for your birthday or if u get a lot of money for ur birthday or christmas hope it helps!!!!!!!!!
