If you want to have media player play your movies every time you put a DVD in, just go to start, default programs, click "change auto play settings," and for the dvd drop down menu, select "windows media player." Media player wasn't designed to play DVD's though, just video clips and music. I suggest using the DVD software that came with your computer.
