  1. You DON'T get your license in 27 days unless  you resolve the current charge before that time.  The pending charge WILL show when you attempt to have your license re-instated.  In all likelihood, part of the sentence for driving on a suspended license will be a LONGER suspension.

  2. I believe it is too late!  For one, why do you need to postpone it?  Please, do not think that if you are allowed to postpone it and when you do appear in court, that since you have a "valid" license, that you will not be found guilty!

  3. NO... a court date is a court date... Unless there are extenuating circumstances (which will definitely be confirmed by the court) then you are sol...

  4. I'm pretty sure the court system will just  tell you to get a ride, unless you can find a health problem or maybe a death in the family?

  5.   get a bonds man to go on your bond, and if he do you better have your licence, when you go to trial with some moneys      oh,     columbus ga, don,t play, when it,s come down to driveing with out licence.         just keeping it,s real.

  6. In my experience, judges do not want to go to trial on cases that do not need to be tried.  Especially DWLS cases.  Judges have more important cases to worry about---assaults, DWI, etc.  Also, prosecutors often dismiss these DWLS cases when the defendant gets his license back.  So, inform your lawyer about your license reinstatement time frame and ask him/her to postpone the date.  I've done it for clients a hundred times.
